BAROS DIVING SCHOOL

General information

Baros is one of the first resorts in the Maldives, opened in 1973 when the archipelago was not yet on the tourism map. The dive school has grown along with the island. The house reef is considered one of the best preserved in the Malé atoll: corals a few meters from the shore, turtles, eagle rays, schools of tropical fish. Guided excursions cover the classic sites of the northern atoll. For those arriving in Malé and wanting to start diving without wasting time on long transfers, Baros is a 25-minute speedboat ride from the international airport.
