NIVA VELASSARU MALDIVES

General information

Fifteen minutes by speedboat from Malé is one of the most accessible and well-preserved reefs in the south of the atoll. Velassaru's dive center offers coral garden dives, night dives, and courses from Discover Scuba level upwards. The South Malé Atoll is known for the Cocoa Thila and Guraidhoo Corner dive sites, two drift dives with large pelagics that alone are worth the transfer. The resort is a boutique category: small, quiet, with less activity compared to the large resorts in the north.
