General information

In the Galapagos, you don't dive to see coral. You dive because the sea here still operates by its own rules, with hammerhead sharks in schools at Gordon Rocks, giant manta rays, turtles passing you at arm's length. Scuba Iguana has been here since 1995, and that's no small detail: they were the first to make daily diving possible in the archipelago, before liveaboard alternatives existed. Thirty years later, the guides are still locals, raised among these rocks, certified by the National Park, with a knowledge of the seabed that can't be learned from books. They work with the Charles Darwin Research Center, conduct small group outings, and give serious briefings. It's not a tourist operation; it's a center that knows these waters better than anyone else.
